雅加达-万隆高铁采用中国技术建造，是“一带一路”倡议的一个里程碑式项目，把这两个城市之间的行程从3小时以上缩短到40分钟左右。
线路长142公里，设计时速350公里。正线有砟轨道段长112.8公里，无砟轨道段长166.6公里，全部采用中国生产的50米钢轨。
