中华人民共和国驻外使馆、领馆或者外交部委托的其它驻外机构负责在境外签发外国人入境签证。

*有效期
Validity:
（"enterbefore"/"expirydate"）timeframewithinwhichaholderofaChinesevisaisallowedtoenterChina.Unlessotherwisespecified,avisatakeseffectfromthedateofissuanceandexpiresat24:00ontheexpirydate.
*停留期
签证的停留期（"durationofeachstay"），是指持证人每次入境被准许停留的时限，自入境次日起开始计算。

由内地公安机关签发的中国签证
ChinesevisasissuedbypublicsecurityauthoritiesinChineseMainland
外国人入境后，因非外交、公务事由需要在中国境内停留居留的，可以按照规定向公安机关出入境管理机构申请签证的延期、换发、补发和停留证件的签发、换发、补发以及居留证件的签发、延期、换发、补发。
申请机关：
外国人应当向县级以上公安机关出入境管理机构申请签证证件。

中华人民共和国外国人永久居留身份证
ForeignPermanentResidentIDCard
外国人永久居留身份证是指外国人在中国居留期限不受限制的凭证，或者说是获得在中国永久居留资格的外国人在中国境内居留的合法身份证件，可以单独使用。
获得在中国永久居留资格的外国人，凭有效护照和《外国人永久居留证》出入中国国境。
