英语中的“种、养”plant，grow，keep,raise的用法
英语中grow、plant、keep、raise四个词，和“种植、栽培、喂养”有关。他们的区别：
3.keep则主要指“养”宠物、养动物，也可以指“赡养”。
如：
Grow和plant都可以表示“种植”，但plant强调“种”这一动作，而grow强调“种植后的栽培与管理过程，以及最终开花、结果”。
或可以译成：Ittakes10yearstogrowatree,whileasoundeducationprogrammayrequire10timesaslongbeforeittakesroot.

Keep表示“赡养、抚养”的含义，后面可接“人”或“动物”的名词，不用来代替plant或grow。

如果需要抚养的人口庞大，应该由keep转换成feed。
Chinahastofeedapopulationof1.4billionpeople.
“raise”除了表示“饲养”动物以外，还可以表示“教育、培养”子女。

另外，还有提醒注意grow与growup在语态使用方面的区别。当“人”做主语时，用grow或growup表示“被抚育长大”的含义时，一定要用begrownup或beraisedup，不能使用begrown(被种植)。
