提起国宝大熊猫，大家都会想到四川，“丫丫”和“乐乐”就是来自那里，但许多人不了解陕西的大熊猫——大熊猫秦岭亚种。
TheQinlinggiantpandaiscloselyrelatedtotheSichuangiantpanda,buttheybelongtotwosubspecies,aretheonlytwogiantpandasubspeciesintheworld.
秦岭大熊猫跟四川大熊猫虽是近亲，但它们却分属两个亚种，是全世界仅有的两个大熊猫亚种。

资料显示，秦岭大熊猫与四川大熊猫分化之后，四川大熊猫的遗传变异性更大，遗传多样性更为丰富，因此其繁殖能力要强于秦岭大熊猫。

四川大熊猫个体略小头型偏长，头部稍大，皮下脂肪较薄长得更像熊，显得威武矫健一些。

秦岭大熊猫则体型较为丰满，皮下脂肪层很厚，且后肢发达。身长一般在1米2至1米8之间，头圆、嘴短，长得更像猫，圆头圆脑的线的憨态可掬。

四川大熊猫的胸部为黑色，腹部94.2%的个体呈白色，5.8%的个体有黑色毛尖和白色毛干；而秦岭大熊猫的胸部呈深棕色，腹部有90.5％的个体为棕色，9.5%的个体有棕色毛尖和白色毛干。

作为秦岭大熊猫圈里的流量担当，“七仔”出生之后因为棕色外表遭到了母亲的抛弃，工作人员费了九牛二虎之力才把它救回来。它是被记录在册的第七只棕色大熊猫，也是全球唯一一只被圈养的棕色大熊猫。
