Frey-TalleyhasafairlyaggressivegrowthplanforTsamma,hopingannualsaleswillhit$150millionwithinfiveyears.
“Somemightthinkthatourplanofgrowthisaggressive,andwedefinitelyhavealotofconsumereducationtodotogetpeopletounderstandthebenefits,”Frey-Talleysaid.Shebelieveswatermelonjuicesalescouldonedayrivalthesaleofcoconutwater—anotherbeveragethathasbecomewildlypopularinrecentyears.
“I’mhopinganyway,”shesaid.“OtherwiseI’llhavetosellafarm.”
