Interactions:
Administratesimultaneouslywithalbendazole,dexamethasonewilldecreasetheconcentrationofpraziquantelinblood.
Indications:Anti-Helminthiasesdrugs,mainlyforSchistosomiasis,Taeniasis,andCysticercosis.
AdministrationandDosage:BaseonPraziquantel,Oral.
Cattle,sheepandpigs:0.5-1.75tablets/10kgs(BW)
DogandCat:0.125-0.25tablets/10kgs(BW)
Poultry:0.5-1tablet/10Kgs(BW)
Adversereactions:
1.Withhighdose,Cattle’sseropropaneaminotransferasemayoccasionallyincreaselightly.Bodytemperaturerising,muscletremorandflatulencemayappearinsomecattle.
2.Anorexia,vomiting,diarrheaoccasionallyoccurindog,buttheincidenceislessthan5%.Adversereactionincatisrare.
Precautions:
1.Administratecarefulforkittenlessthan4weeksoldandpuppylessthan6weeksold.
2.Theproductofcombinationofpraziquantelandfebantelcanbeusedforallages
ofdogsandcatsandevenduringthepregnantperiod.
