Accordingtohistoricalrecords,FengtianProvinceestablishedamintinthetwenty-ninthyearofGuangxu(1903)andcastGuangxuYuanbaocopperyuan.Accordingtothephysicalnatureoftheworld,inthecoppercoinsofFengtianProvince,theearliestyearofthedrybranchwastheembarrassment.ThisyearwastheyearwhentheFengtianMintwascompleted.IfitisreasonabletousethetenbronzecoinsinFengtianastheinitialtestcoinage,thenitscastingyearshouldbethesameasthatofFengtian'sbronzecoins,andthetestcastingtimeshouldbeearlier.Inotherwords,itistheearliestcoppercoincastinFengtianProvince.
奉天省是光绪年间的一个行政区域，泛指现在的辽宁省，奉天府即现在的沈阳市，奉天是我国“机制币”制造比较早的省份，早在1897年就已经建立了造币厂，1900年就开发出铜元珍品“奉天中花十文”试铸样币。

奉天省造光绪元宝当制钱十文铜元，正面中央铸一花星，俗称"六瓣星"，外环铸"光绪元宝"及珠圈，上缘铸"奉天省造"，下缘铸"当制钱十文"，左右两侧铸满文"宝奉";背面中间为龙图，上缘英文铸，FUNGITIENPROVINCE下缘英文铸"，TENCASH，图案文字清晰，地章平整光洁，边缘无磨损，保存较佳这枚钱币正反面差20%角度此币为错版币
